Step into DEAN & DELUCA Seijo, a delightful café located in the charming Setagaya City of Tokyo. This little gem is a stone's throw away from Seijo Gakuen Mae Station, making it the perfect pitstop for coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike. As you enter, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, instantly making you feel at home.

This café offers a unique blend of American café culture with a Japanese twist. With an enticing selection of popular dishes, your taste buds are in for a treat. Start your day with their exquisite caramel macchiato or a rich espresso, both praised for their impressive latte art that stays intact, showcasing the skill of their talented baristas. If you're feeling peckish, don't miss out on the deliciously handcrafted lasagna. Each layer is filled with creamy cheese and savory beef that melts in your mouth, presenting a symphony of flavors that will have you coming back for more.

For those who adore baked goods, the focaccia bread is a must-try—it's soft yet crispy, paired with marinated meats that elevate its taste profile. There’s a little something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a hearty lunch or a sweet treat to accompany your coffee.

The ambiance inside DEAN & DELUCA is cozy and laid-back, inviting you to sit back, relax, and enjoy your food and drink. However, do come prepared as it can get a bit crowded, especially during peak hours. As noted by patrons, it does get chilly in winter, so a warm sweater might be wise. Despite this, cheerful chatter and the clinking of cups create a vibrant atmosphere, making it a delightful spot to catch up with friends or indulge in some quiet time with a book.

Recent customers have resonated with their experiences here. One visitor, 曾文, praised the café’s coffee for standing up against big competitors like Starbucks and labeled it a perfect spot for quality sustenance. Another regular, Sugar, loved the dedicated corner filled with DEAN & DELUCA merchandise, proving the café is not just about food and drink but also offers a slice of lifestyle. Even if English isn't commonly spoken, as discovered by Clemens Riegler, navigating the menu with gestures is part of the fun! Yuki Takahashi emphasized the café's superior lunch options compared to nearby establishments, making it a standout choice in Seijo.

In essence, DEAN & DELUCA Seijo is not merely a café; it’s a community hub where quality food and warm interactions meet. Whether you’re grabbing a quick snack on the go or unwinding with a friend over a coffee and cake, this delightful spot should definitely be on your itinerary when in Tokyo!

Nice little Café with great Coffee and Cake! Was very happy here. Unfortunately nobody spoke English but it is possible to order coffee and cake just with gestures. Would recommend this place!

A good alternative to Starbucks in the Seijogakuen-mae area. This place offers more (and probably better) lunch options than Starbucks but fewer drink options. It gets cold during winter as other reviewers say, though. There’s free wifi.
